Quality of life is a measurement of how good one feels about one’s life. Essentially, there are formal procedures for calculating it – this includes factors such as economic, social, physical, political and our spiritual well-being.

In this month’s Quick Poll, let’s take a look at what people think about the quality of life with regards to the emotional well-being aspect!

In general, 1 in 2 of those who participated in the poll voiced that 2020 was not a fulfilling year for them.

Perhaps major global events such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic downturn have contributed to how our lives played out this year.

Which of the following did you feel the most this year?

Worried
54%
Happy
19%
Sad
16%
Angry
11%
Based on 197 people polled as of 30 November 2020

The negative sentiments were echoed in the second poll question too, with 1 in 2 respondents feeling worried most of the time.

As dreadful (or satisfactory) as this year may have been for us, it’s always good to remember that tough times will pass.

Afterall, we need to experience the bad to appreciate the good in life fully. So, let’s press on and stay strong!
