With all that has been going on right now, our mental health may have taken on a toll in one way or another.
This month, let’s check out What Singapore Thinks about this!
Generally, 6 in 10 agree that Singaporeans view those who have been diagnosed with mental health conditions in a bad light.
However, do you know that mental health conditions are actually very common?
The latest nationwide study conducted by Singapore’s Institute of Mental Health shows that 1 in 7 people in Singapore has experienced a mental disorder in their lifetime.
With that, most Singaporeans (66%) had voiced that they were worried about their own mental health during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
About 1 in 5 Singaporeans rated their own mental health poorly.
Granted, there’s a lot going on today – the ongoing pandemic, strict dining in/out measures, work from home/home-based learning, and the list goes on…
Thus, it’s really OK to not be OK.
