2020 has been an extraordinary year like no other.
While we experienced our fair share of highs and lows this year, let’s take some time to reflect on how it has been.
Read on to find out What Singapore Thinks.
What have Singaporeans achieved in 2020?
When asked about their achievements for this year, it is heartening to find that most Singaporeans highlighted that they’ve managed to spend more time with their family :’)
On hindsight, this may largely be due to the Circuit Breaker that was implemented earlier this year!
Given the harsh nature of 2020 (cue: the global Covid-19 pandemic, an economic downturn and job losses), 1 in 2 Singaporeans voiced that this year was not satisfactory for them. Meanwhile, 1 in 3 Singaporeans found 2020 to be so-so.
Since the majority were dissatisfied with their year thus far, is there anything that Singaporeans would like to change about this year?
If you could restart the year…
Understandably, 1 in 2 Singaporeans wishes to change their financial situation, while improving one’s physical health comes a close second.
Inevitably, health was a primary focus for most of us during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Regardless of what has happened this year, we should continue moving forward and be stronger for what has yet to come 😊
Let’s cheers to a new beginning in 2021!
