Transport has always been an integral part of all Singaporeans’ lives.

As community cases continue to rise in recent weeks, let’s drive through What Singapore Thinks about transportation amidst a pandemic!

Understandably, given the current situation, crowded buses or trains are Singaporeans’ #1 concern at this point of time.

Naturally, Singaporeans become uneasy when commuters are seen coughing or sneezing on public transportation.

Other behavioural quirks such as talking loudly or standing right at the doorways irk Singaporeans too!

For now, most Singaporeans (46%) remain on the fence on whether they feel safe when taking public transportation.

Regardless, as our nation looks towards the gradual reopening of our community with care, the Covid-19 pandemic will soon be viewed as an endemic.

Till then, let’s continue to practice good hygiene and proper safe distancing at all times – even on public transport!
