With all that’s going on right now, air travel remains a big question mark on our minds.
This month, let’s find out What Singapore Thinks about travelling in recent times!
Assuming that air travel bubbles with other countries exist, most Singaporeans (65%) would pass up a travel opportunity this year. And what are some of the reasons why?
Concerns about getting infected by the ongoing pandemic takes top place as to why most Singaporeans would rather not travel this year. Meanwhile, other reasons such as unstable travel bubble plans and overpriced air tickets trail not too far behind.
As such, many are turning to tour around Singapore instead!
Given our country’s hot and humid weather, Singaporeans generally prefer to stay indoors!
3 in 5 Singaporeans would opt to indulge in a staycation at a local hotel/resort as an alternative to travelling overseas! Additionally, 1 in 2 would rather watch a movie to pass their time.
On the flip side, Singaporeans also love a good breath of fresh air by heading outdoors to take a hike, sailing across seas on a cruise, or by simply making a trip down to the beach!
Regardless of what type of activities we prefer, let’s remain cautious and practice good hygiene to stay safe and healthy!
